We will improve the fictionality in the future and give you the option to cross off tasks.Īs for super accurate time tracking, graphs and scheduling. We have a simple to-do list where you can enter 3 tasks. So maybe this will not even include time but look more like a list of things you’ve done that day. However this might encourage people to want to correct the timer, so they can actively keep track of everything. We wanted there to be a little notebook which records which tasks you have done, so you can always look back on your accomplishments. Just something that is nicer than the button we have now :) We want to have a pause timer that reminds you to get up and stretch or make yourself some tea.
This is for those who use the cottage for 2h study sessions. UI StuffColor themes/ being able to change the colors around the cottage: we’ll probably have a selection of colors, since Simone is super picky with her colors :P
We’d like this feature, but again this could take a good while Option to kick songs from playlist or mute songs with vocals: Also we expect that if we do that for YouTube, people will want Spotify and Soundcloud integration as well AND we also want to keep YouTube ads from breaking your concentration… which is why we moved away from browsers in the first place. We like this idea a lot, but we have no idea how to do that. This option is possible with Godot, we just have to learn how to properly implement it.
VIRTUAL COTTAGE PC
Option 1: Create a folder on your PC where songs get dropped in. If you are involved in the music industry and could give us a hand here we’d appreciate it! (some of you already have, yay!) Since it’s already tricky enough to contact artists/labels and collect music in just one genre… The goal is to get the selection up to 2 hours. The only number I look at is how many hours I’ve spent in the cottage in general on Steam, since that gives me a feeling of having accomplished something. I have my to do list in Trello and if I need to track time accurately for work I use Toggl. Simone: I open the software, set myself a task and then forget about the timer. This is completely ok, but we really want to improve the cottage for those who want to use it long term. When going through the reviews/forum we’ve seen a lot of people who like the idea of Virtual Cottage, played it for 0,5h but ultimately want a more gamified version. We want to get a better feel for which features are actually needed. Secondly, those people who have used Virtual Cottage over 20h, please let us know HOW YOU use it. We are still learning the basics, so please be patient :) This is not an excuse, but merely an explanation why implementing features can take VERY LONG for us.
